Cookie policy
We keep cookies to the minimum. There are no advertising cookies on this site. Before you accept, we set only what the site needs to work, and only when you use it: sign-in cookies when you sign in or ask us to email you a sign-in code or link, and a theme cookie if you change your account's theme. The traffic count runs cookieless by default.
What we set
- Consent choice — a small entry in your browser’s local storage remembering whether you accepted analytics. Not a tracking cookie; it exists so we don’t ask you again.
- Analytics (only after you Accept) — a first-party Google Analytics cookie so a repeat visit can be recognised. If you choose Necessary only, this is never set and analytics stays cookieless.
- Sign-in (only if you sign in or ask for a code) — cookies from our sign-in provider, Supabase. One keeps you signed in to your account. The other is set when you ask us to email you a sign-in code or link — to sign in, sign up, reset your password or confirm your email in the operator form — and ties that request to this browser. Both last up to 400 days and are removed when you sign out; if you ask for a code but never sign in, the second one stays until it expires. You need them only for an account or the operator form; the rest of the site works without them.
- Account theme (only if you change it) — a cookie named
br_cab_themethat remembers whether your account is dark, light or follows your device. It lasts a year; our server reads it to draw your account.
What we never set
No advertising, retargeting, or cross-site cookies. We run no ads and build no advertising profile.
How to control them
Change your choice anytime at Cookie preferences, or clear cookies and local storage in your browser. Declining does not break the site — see Privacy policy for the full picture.
