7 of 18: the Trustpilot blackout

Seven of the eighteen operators we track currently have their Trustpilot score withheld for guideline violations. Before this publishes, we are verifying every underlying record: each flagged profile, each capture date, each screenshot.

What our research is

Every report starts from data we collected ourselves: licence registers checked by hand, on-chain payout observations, a complaint corpus built from Reddit and Bitcointalk, third-party rating snapshots with capture dates. If we can’t trace a number to a source and a date, it doesn’t get published.

What it will never be

Sponsored. Research is editorial-only by charter — operators cannot commission, preview, or veto a report. Factual errors are corrected free of charge, for any company; the corrections log is public.

When does the first report publish?
When every underlying record is verified — not on a fixed date. We are checking each flagged profile, capture date and screenshot before we publish; the report ships when that verification is complete.
Can an operator sponsor research?
No. Research is editorial-only by charter — operators cannot commission, preview or veto a report. Factual errors are corrected free of charge for any company, and the corrections log is public.
