How long a Ladbrokes withdrawal takes depends on the method and on an internal review that comes first. Ladbrokes' help centre says the review "takes approximately up to 24 hours (Monday to Friday)", and the method's own time is added on top: from instant to five banking days. A Visa debit card on Visa Fast Funds is the quickest route it describes, with money that "will typically take up to 4 hours to reach your bank account". Customers in the UK can't reverse a withdrawal once it's requested, and Ladbrokes says it charges no withdrawal fees.03010205
We read Ladbrokes' help-centre pages on withdrawals, payment methods and account verification, and its General Terms and Conditions for UK customers (marked "Updated: [21.01.2025]"), on 25 October 2026. These are the operator's own statements, not tested payouts: BullsRank hasn't measured how long Ladbrokes takes to pay. The help pages carry no last-edited date, so the date we give for each is the day we read it. Our Ladbrokes profile holds the licence record; the rest of our guides cover withdrawals at other operators.01020304050607080910111213
How long does a Ladbrokes withdrawal take?
Two clocks run one after the other. First, "All withdrawals are first approved by our internal review team, which takes approximately up to 24 hours (Monday to Friday). Withdrawals to debit cards will be processed Monday to Sunday." Then the payment method takes its own time. The help centre puts that range at "instantly to five banking days depending on your method of choice" and adds: "Please note that these timeframes are additional to our internal processing times." The cashier shows the time for each method under the method itself, and again in your Payment History.0301
The Visa Fast Funds page gives shorter times. For an eligible Visa debit or prepaid card, the help centre says: "It typically takes a couple of hours to check and approve payouts before we process. Once a withdrawal request has been made it will typically take up to 4 hours to reach your bank account." These payouts run "24hrs a day, 7 days a week", weekends included. Four things can push one past four hours: further internal checks, a payout over 2,000 GBP or EUR ("liable for further manual checks and will likely not meet the 4-hour SLA"), a payout in a different currency from your card, or going over the limit of five Fast Funds withdrawals a day, which resets on a rolling 24 hours.02

These are the help centre's figures, read on 25 October 2026. The Apple Pay page says it supports withdrawals and gives "within 1-3 business days" for money "transferred into my account", without saying whether that means deposits or withdrawals. The Pay by Bank and paysafecard pages say withdrawals are available, with no time or limit. On credit cards the help centre disagrees with itself. The Visa page answers "Can I withdraw to my credit card?" with "No." The page on gambling with credit cards from April 2020 says: "In most cases, you'll still be able withdraw to a credit card, debit card or prepaid card issued by an MSB that's already registered to your account if that's how you've deposited in the past." What both pages agree on is that UK customers can't deposit by credit card, a rule in force since 14 April 2020. For everything else the help centre points to the cashier, which shows "all available deposit/withdrawal methods, along with limits on deposits and any applicable timeframes" once you're logged in.101105
Where your money goes: the closed-loop rule
You don't always choose where the money goes. Ladbrokes runs what it calls a "Closed Loop System": the methods a withdrawal goes to depend on which methods you deposited with and how much, and one withdrawal can be split across several of them. The help centre's example: you deposit £100 by Visa and £50 by Apple Pay, and your balance grows to £500. You want £200 out, preferably to Apple Pay. Before you can send more than £50 to Apple Pay, you have to withdraw £100 to the Visa card.04
Ladbrokes can also change the method itself: "As an internal security precaution, withdrawals are subject to modification by our Financial Service Department." Clause 9.13 of the terms adds that withdrawals go only to the registered account holder, and that if no existing method works, the cashier offers alternatives or Ladbrokes emails you for other details.0513
UK accounts have a second limit. "You can have a maximum of three payment methods in use across a rolling 30 day period." That counts debit cards and e-wallets such as PayPal, not deposits made in a shop, prepaid cards or expired cards. The cap doesn't apply in Ireland.05
You can't cancel a withdrawal in the UK
The help centre's answer on returning a requested withdrawal to your balance ends: "(Please note that this feature is no longer available to our UK customers.)" The Visa Fast Funds page says the same about its two-hour reversal window. Elsewhere, cancelling is possible only in exceptional cases, by email to customer support, depending on how far the withdrawal has gone. If you cancel one and then bet the money, the help centre says, Ladbrokes "is not obligated to refund any cancelled amounts that you subsequently wager".050204
Minimums, fees and why a request fails
"Ladbrokes does not charge any withdrawal fees." Clause 9.9 of the UK terms says the same for debit cards and bank transfers to bank accounts, and clause 9.11 adds one exception: bank transfers to international accounts carry bank charges, which you pay. Your own bank or e-wallet may charge separately.0513
The minimum is shown in your account under Withdrawals; the help pages give one only for Fast Bank Transfer and Google Pay, both £5. A balance below the minimum can't be withdrawn online. The withdrawal form also rejects amounts with decimal points or commas: "all specified amounts must be whole numbers with no decimal points or commas." If you're taking part in a bonus promotion, you can't request a withdrawal at all until its requirements are met.05060801
The help centre lists reasons it may cancel a withdrawal: a payment method or bank account not in the account holder's name, unmet promotion terms, a request to withdraw deposits that were never used to play, and missing photo ID ("withdrawals cannot be performed until the official photo ID has been received").05
One fee Ladbrokes does charge is for inactivity. Under clause 14 of the terms, an account with no cash bets for 13 consecutive months becomes inactive. Ladbrokes says it emails you first and tries to return the balance to your last known payment method. If that fails, then after at least 30 days' notice by email it charges £3.00 a month until you reactivate the account or the balance reaches £0.00, and you can ask Customer Services to refund those fees. Our guide to casino inactivity fees compares this with other operators' terms.13
When Ladbrokes asks for documents
UK accounts are checked from registration: "You cannot play, deposit, or withdraw until you are verified." Most checks are automated. When they aren't, Ladbrokes asks for photo ID (passport, ID card or driving licence) and, if the address doesn't match, a bank statement or utility bill from the last three months. Upload them through the website's document uploader, the Android or iOS apps, or by email to documents@ladbrokes.com. "We aim to review and process documents within 36 hours."12
Verification isn't one-off. The help centre says you may be asked again for routine checks, and "without verification when requested, account restrictions will occur such as deposit, bet and withdrawal restrictions." Clause 9.7.2 of the terms says a delay in sending requested information "may cause an additional delay when withdrawing funds". The age verification page adds that further checks are "usually based on things like the amount of money you deposit", under a separate Source of Funds policy. Our guide to a source-of-funds check covers what such requests usually ask for.1213
PayPal has its own rule. You can make your first deposit with PayPal, but then sportsbook access is limited until you complete identity verification.09
If a withdrawal is pending, missing or held
Status unclear: log in, go to Cashier and open Payment history; it shows the status of each withdrawal and, once processed, where it was sent.
Requested but not received: allow for the review of up to 24 hours on weekdays, then the method's own time from the table. For Visa Fast Funds, the help centre's reasons for missing four hours are internal checks, a payout over 2,000 GBP/EUR, a currency different from the card's, or more than five Fast Funds withdrawals in a day.
Can't submit the request: check the minimum in your account, remove decimal points, commas and accents from the form, and remember that available methods depend on how you deposited. If it still fails, send customer support the exact error message.
Account suspended: clause 15.2 covers suspension during an investigation into a suspected prohibited activity: "Your funds cannot be accessed or withdrawn during periods of suspension", and any balance stays in the account.
Complaints go through three stages under clause 25: customer services, then a team or line manager, then the Ladbrokes Complaints Team at complaints@ladbrokes.com. For UK players, clause 25.8 promises an acknowledgement within 24 hours and a final position by email within eight weeks, with the clock paused while Ladbrokes waits for information from you. After that you can take a dispute to IBAS, the Independent Betting Adjudication Service, "within twelve months of the date when the dispute arose". Our guide to IBAS and UK gambling disputes covers the deadlines and what IBAS can decide. If the operator still won't pay, see what to do when a casino is refusing to pay.13
Who you're dealing with
The UK terms name LC International Limited, a Gibraltar company (number 46808) that is part of the Entain Group, as the operator. The same company runs Coral, bwin, Gala, Foxy, Gamebookers, PartyCasino, PartyPoker and Sportingbet in the UK, and the terms give its Gambling Commission account as 54743. The Gambling Commission's register, downloaded on 25 October 2026 at 09:57 UTC, lists account 54743 under LC International Limited with licence 054743-R-330863-015, active, covering remote betting intermediary, real and virtual event betting, casino, bingo and pool betting, and ladbrokes.com among its active domains. Clause 9.16 says customer funds are held in a separate client bank account. Our guide to what the UK Gambling Commission does for players explains what the regulator can and can't do about a single withdrawal.1314
What to ask Ladbrokes before a large withdrawal
Please confirm, for my withdrawal of [amount] to [method]: which payment methods it will be split across under the Closed Loop System, whether any documents are needed before it is approved, and the minimum and maximum that apply to this method on my account. My username is [username].
Keep the reply in the same chat or email thread.
What we couldn't check
Actual payout times. We didn't make a withdrawal. The times above are what Ladbrokes' help centre says, not what we measured.
The cashier. We didn't log in, so we haven't seen the per-method times and limits the withdrawal screen shows for a real account.
When the help pages last changed. They carry no edit date; we can only say what they said on 25 October 2026.
The Irish and international terms. This guide follows the UK terms. Ladbrokes publishes separate terms for Ireland and the rest of the world.
