Short answerFact-checked 26 Oct 2026
  • Between our reads of 6 and 11 October 2026, Anjouan's licence register fell from 1,543 entries to 1,343. All 200 that left had a printed expiry date of 17 July 2026 or earlier, and none was added.
  • By 22 October 94 more had gone, 91 of them past their date. On 26 October the register lists 1,278 licences, every one marked "valid", and 93 show an expiry date that has passed.
  • None of the 340 past-date entries in our 16 September census still shows its old date: 288 have left and 52 carry a later expiry. Six removed in the 6–11 October round came back, Gamdom's among them.
  • Seven Anjouan licences cited by our operator profiles, among them Flush's, Cybet's and Chipsy's, are no longer listed. The register gives no reason for any removal.

Anjouan's licence register lost 200 entries between our reads of 6 and 11 October 2026, falling from 1,543 to 1,343. Every one of the 200 had a printed expiry date of 17 July 2026 or earlier, and nothing was added in that window. By 22 October another 94 entries had gone. On 26 October the register lists 1,278 licences, all marked "valid", and 93 of them still show an expiry date that has passed.01

Data as of 26 October 2026. This note follows our regulators hub and our September census of the Anjouan register, which counted 340 entries past their own expiry date. It tracks what happened to them through six reads of the register between 16 September and 26 October. The register gives no reason for any removal, so neither do we. 18+.

What changed between 6 and 11 October

The register shrank by 200 entries in one step, and the cut followed the expiry column. On 6 October, 201 entries printed an expiry of 17 July 2026 or earlier: 200 left, and the other, Aquila Ltd (ALSI-202412014-FI1), was given a date a year later in the same update. Before the cut, entries stayed listed as "valid" for nearly 15 months past their printed date. After it, nothing older than 22 July 2026 remained. The site's cache had generated our 6 October copy at 12:56 GMT that day and our 11 October copy at 20:29 GMT on 10 October, so the change was made between those two times.01

The 200 removed entries had printed expiry dates from 18 July 2025 to 17 July 2026. 193 were B2C-only licences, the type a player-facing casino holds. 102 had been issued in 2024, 85 in 2025 and 13 in 2023. Between them they listed 410 domains. Every one of the 200 was already in the 340-entry past-date group of our 16 September census.01

A second round, by 22 October

Between 11 and 22 October, 94 more licence numbers left the register. 91 of them had printed expiry dates from 22 July to 15 September 2026. The same rule held as before: of the 100 entries dated 15 September or earlier on 11 October, 91 left and nine were given a date a year later. On 22 October the oldest date still listed was 21 September; on 26 October it was 28 September.01

Three of the 94 still had expiry dates ahead of them: Dravecourt Ltd (ALSI-202606065-FI2, putki.com, to 29 June 2027), Lightsoft Solution Ltd (ALSI-112405013-FI1, 18 domains, to 6 May 2027) and Seven23 Limited (ALSI-202412025-FI1, 8black.com and kickbackcasino.com, to 4 December 2026). None of the three is on the Authority's revoked or suspended lists, which on 26 October name two revoked licences and one suspended. The register doesn't say why these entries went.010405

Some entries came back

Six of the licence numbers removed in the 6–11 October round were listed again by 22 October, each with its original issue date and a later expiry. Gamdom's is one: ALSI-152406043-FI4, held by Moon Revolution Limitada for gamdom.com, printed 29 June 2026 before the cut, was missing on 11 October and read 29 June 2027 on 22 October. Five of the six returned under the same company, though one of them, Flowerinas SRL (ALSI-112405008-FI1), came back with no domains where it had listed blazingwildz.com and gigaspinz.com. The sixth, ALSI-202506009-FI1, came back under a different company name and domain: Liman Solutions Limitada with okbe.com before, 3-102-926673 Limitada with sanscasino.com after.01

Dates move in both directions. On 22 October, ALSI-202506009-FI1 printed an expiry of 1 June 2028; on 26 October it printed 1 June 2027. Two other entries, Internovas Limited and RWB Solutions International Ltd, made the same one-year step back between those reads. Mistletoe Ltd (ALSI-202508061-FI2), moved forward a year twice since September, kept its 2028 date and is the only entry dated 2028 on 26 October.01

Of the 340 past-date entries in our September census, none still shows its old date on 26 October. 288 have left the register. 52 are listed with a later expiry, all but two of them exactly one year later. A missing entry isn't always final, and a returned one may not read as it did before.01

The operators we track

Seven Anjouan licences that our operator profiles cite are no longer in the register, and two more carry new dates. These are register facts only. We didn't check, for this note, whether any of these sites now shows a different licence or regulator.01

Four more licences that our profiles cite are past their printed date and still listed as "valid" on 26 October: Duelbits (duelbits.io) and Megapari (both 12 October 2026), Betwinner (15 October) and Bets.io (17 October). Our article on this autumn's Anjouan expiry dates follows them.01

What "valid" means in this register

On 26 October every one of the 1,278 entries reads "valid", including 93 whose printed expiry date has passed. One of the 93, ALSI-202610004-FI1, prints an expiry date a day before its issue date of 15 October 2026, which looks like a typing error rather than a lapsed licence. The Authority's own status definitions list four categories, Active, Suspended, Revoked and Expired, and say that "Only entities with an Active licence status are authorised to conduct licensed internet gaming activities." The register uses none of the four words.0102

The definition of Expired is plain: "The licence validity period has ended and the licence has not been renewed. The former licence holder is no longer authorised to conduct licensed activities." The register doesn't mark an entry that way. In what we saw, a past-date entry keeps reading "valid" until it is either removed or given a new date. On 6 October the oldest past date still listed was nearly 15 months old; on 26 October it was four weeks old.02

The Authority's disclaimer covers this: "the register is updated periodically and may not reflect changes that have occurred since the most recent update. For time-sensitive verification, users should contact the Authority directly."03

How to read an Anjouan entry now

  1. Find the licence number on the casino's own site, usually in the footer or terms. It looks like ALSI-202410011-FI1.

  2. Search the register by that number, then by the domain you use.

  3. Ignore the status column. Compare the printed expiry date with today's date.

  4. If the number isn't there, check the revoked and suspended lists. If it isn't on those either, the register has no published reason.

  5. If the domain you use appears under a different licence, note the company it names. The Authority's disclaimer says a domain entry "confirms only that the domain has been notified to the Authority".

  6. Save a copy with the date. The same number can read differently a week later.

Our Anjouan licence check guide walks through the register's columns, and what a gaming licence is covers the other regulators.

How we built this

We read the register page on 16 September, 5 October, 6 October, 11 October, 22 October and 26 October 2026, each by a direct request; where we saved more than one copy on a day, the table uses the last. The page carries its whole table as data inside the HTML, so each copy holds every entry, not just the first page. We matched entries across copies by licence number. "Past their printed expiry" means an expiry date earlier than the day of the read. The site serves the register through a cache, so each copy shows the register as it stood when the cache generated it, which the response headers record for our 6 and 11 October copies but not for every read. The 5 and 6 October copies are identical. We don't know the exact day of the second round, only that it fell between our 11 and 22 October reads.

What we are not saying

We are not saying any site named here is unlicensed, closed or unsafe, or that a removal followed any finding against a licence holder. The register gives no reasons, and the revoked and suspended lists don't cover these entries. If the Authority publishes a reason or corrects an entry, this note will carry it with the date.

Does Anjouan remove licences past their expiry date from its register?
In October 2026 it removed past-date entries in two rounds. Between our reads of 6 and 11 October, 200 entries with printed expiry dates from 18 July 2025 to 17 July 2026 left the register, and 91 more went by 22 October. Others stay listed for weeks: 93 on 26 October. The register gives no reason and publishes no "Expired" status.
Why does an Anjouan licence past its expiry date still say "valid"?
Because every entry in the published register reads "valid", whatever its date. On 26 October 2026 that included 93 entries past their printed expiry. The Authority's definitions list an Expired status, but the register doesn't use it, so the expiry date is the field to check.
What does it mean if a casino's Anjouan licence isn't in the register?
The register doesn't say. Check the revoked and suspended lists first. Some removed numbers came back weeks later with a new expiry date, so save a dated copy and check again. You can also contact the Authority, which its disclaimer recommends for time-sensitive checks.
Can an Anjouan licence come back after it leaves the register?
Yes. Six licence numbers removed in October 2026 were listed again by 22 October, each with its original issue date and a later expiry. One of them, Gamdom's ALSI-152406043-FI4, moved from 29 June 2026 to 29 June 2027. If gambling is affecting you, support is listed on our responsible gambling page.
