Rollbit's Curaçao entry is still in the register, and since the edition dated 8 September 2026 its status has read "Expired". Rollbit's own terms, read on 16 September 2026, name a different company — Acacia Tech Ltd — and an Anjouan licence, ALSI-042308006-FII, which Anjouan's register lists as valid with an expiry date of 20 August 2027. Both statements are true at the same time, in two different registers.010203
This is what a regulator switch looks like from the outside, and it is why a licence check that stops at one register can be wrong for months.
Three documents, three dates

Two months earlier the terms read differently. When BullsRank recorded them on 25 July 2026, the document named Bull Gaming N.V. and the Curaçao licence. The company on the contract changed between those two reads; the Curaçao entry did not disappear when it did.03
The Curaçao status changed in one edition, along with 27 others
Rollbit's Curaçao row did not quietly rot. It moved.
The register is republished as a dated PDF, and BullsRank reads every edition it publishes. Rollbit's entry read "Assessment in progress" in the editions dated 6, 27 and 31 August and 3 September 2026. In the edition dated 8 September it read "Expired", and it has read "Expired" in every edition since — 10, 14 and 16 September.01
It was not alone. Twenty-eight entries moved from "Assessment in progress" to "Expired" in that single 8 September edition. Across the register, rows marked Expired went from 32 on 6 August to 60 on 16 September, out of 663 entries. (BullsRank Curaçao register census, editions dated 6 August – 16 September 2026.)01
That is the LOK transition being processed in public, edition by edition. A status word moving is a regulator's administrative act, not a finding about a casino's conduct — but it does change what the register tells you about that casino today.
What we are not saying
We are not saying Rollbit is unlicensed. The Anjouan register lists a licence covering rollbit.com, and the operator's terms name the company that holds it. We are not saying a passed date or an "Expired" status means an operator is breaking a rule: whether a licence is in force is a determination for the regulator that issued it, not for us.0203
What we are saying is narrower and checkable: on 16 September 2026, one register said Expired, the other said valid, the contract named a new company, and anyone checking only the first document would have drawn the wrong conclusion in either direction.
We have not asked the operator or either regulator for a statement for this article. If we receive one, it goes on this page with its date.
The same gap, the other way round
The mirror image is just as common. Anjouan's register carries no status but "valid": on 16 September 2026 all 1,527 entries read "valid", including 340 whose printed expiry date had already passed. Curaçao prints a dated compliance-review period and keeps printing a status word after it ends: 275 entries on the same date were past their printed expiry while marked neither expired nor revoked.0102
So the two registers fail in opposite directions. One never tells you a term has lapsed. The other tells you a window has closed without telling you what follows. The full reads are here: all 1,527 Anjouan entries and all 663 Curaçao entries.
How to check this yourself in five minutes
Start with the contract, not the footer. Open the operator's terms and find the operating company and the licence number. A footer logo is marketing; the terms name the counterparty you actually deal with. Note the document's own "last updated" date.
Look up the number in the register that issued it. Curaçao's register is a dated PDF from the Curaçao Gaming Authority; Anjouan's is a searchable register with a verification tool. Use the number, and the company name as a second route.
Read the date column next to the status. A status word without the expiry date beside it answers nothing. In Anjouan's register the two disagree on 340 entries.
Check the domain, knowing who filled it in. Anjouan lists domains per licence, declared by the licensee — 49 licences list none and seven domains sit under more than one licence. A domain that is absent proves nothing.
Write down what you found and when. A licence check is only true for the date you did it. Ours are published with that date, and so is every claim on an operator profile.
