How long a Unibet withdrawal takes depends on the method. Unibet's UK help centre gives an average of "Few mins to 1 banking day" for debit cards and "up to 24 hours" for Trustly instant bank transfer, then a standard bank transfer 1-3 working days, Apple Pay and Google Pay up to three business days, and Revolut Pay "Instant". Money goes back to the method you deposited with, and once you've asked for a withdrawal you can't cancel it.0207
We read Unibet's General Terms and Conditions (version 5.5.6, last updated 28 September 2026) and its UK help centre on 6 November 2026, along with the Gambling Commission's register entry and enforcement notice for the company behind Unibet. These are Unibet's own statements, not tested payouts: BullsRank hasn't measured how long Unibet takes to pay. The help centre's answers carry no dates, and its page at unibet.co.uk/help returned a 404 status on 6 November, so we read the answers from the data feed that loads them into the site. Our other guides cover withdrawals at other operators, and the Unibet profile holds the licence record.0102030405
How long does a Unibet withdrawal take?
The terms don't give a processing time. Clause 11.3 sends you to "the Withdrawals page in the Help Centre", and the help centre gives one figure per method:0102
Method | Processing time Unibet states | Limits Unibet states | What you need first |
|---|---|---|---|
Debit card | Few mins to 1 banking day (average) | Minimum £5 | A deposit with that card |
Trustly (instant bank transfer) | Up to 24 hours (average) | £5 to £50,000 | A deposit via Trustly |
Bank transfer | 1-3 working days | Not stated | A bank account in your name |
Apple Pay | Up to 3 business days | "Please refer to the Cashier page" | A deposit with that Apple Pay card, on an iPhone or iPad |
Google Pay | Up to 3 business days | "Please refer to the Cashier page" | A deposit with that Google Pay card |
Revolut Pay | Instant | €10 / 10.000 | A deposit with Revolut Pay |
These are the help centre's figures, read on 6 November 2026; for cards and Trustly the help centre calls them average processing times. The Revolut Pay answer gives its limits in euros, written "€10 /10.000", although the other payment answers give amounts in pounds; we've copied it as written. The card, Trustly, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Revolut Pay answers list the fee as none; the bank transfer answer doesn't mention a fee.02
Two other answers add stages around those times. An automatic email confirms the withdrawal once it "has been verified and processed", and Unibet says: "It takes around 2 hours from the time you request the withdrawal to when the withdrawal is confirmed." The same answer says the timeframe may vary with the method and the verification required. After that, "It can take up to 3 banking days for the money to arrive on your bank/E-Wallet account." In your Account History a withdrawal shows as Pending, which Unibet defines as "pending approval & processing from our side", and then Successful, meaning it's "in the hands of your bank/E-Wallet". Between the two it may briefly drop out of the history; the help centre calls that "perfectly normal" and says that unless the money has been refunded to your balance, the withdrawal is still being processed. It adds that Customer Support can't speed up approving and sending withdrawals. To find a payout on your bank statement, the help centre suggests matching the withdrawal ID or the amount in your Transaction History; the statement descriptor it names, for deposits, may be "Unibet or Firstclear Ltd".02
Our guide to William Hill withdrawals covers the same questions at another UK operator.
Withdrawals go back to the way you paid in
Clause 11.2 says funds stay in your account until you ask for them to be "transferred to the debit card or online payment service with which You originally deposited monies in Your Account". The help centre puts it plainly: "you can only make a withdrawal to the payment method you used to deposit." The withdraw page shows only the methods you're allowed to use, chosen by "an automated system based on previously used methods", and the help centre adds: "Please note that you cannot change which withdrawal method is available by contacting our customer service team."0102
If you've paid in with more than one method, a single withdrawal can be split. Unibet says a payout may be "Split across multiple payment methods you previously used to deposit", calls this part of its internal policy, and says you'll still receive the full amount. Every method must be in your name: "all deposits and withdrawals need to be made via a payment method registered in your name", and breaking that rule "may result in complications recovering your funds, and even account suspension." Clause 9.2 also rules out credit cards for deposits, including credit cards held in PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay. If a card withdrawal fails, the help centre's checks are that you've deposited with that card, that it's still active in your account and that you haven't deleted it, and it warns that "Mastercard withdrawals may not be available in your country."0201
You can't cancel a Unibet withdrawal
"Withdrawals cannot be cancelled (or reversed) after they are requested by you." Unibet gives the reason as "a regulatory requirement set out by the UK Gambling Commission", and the Commission's rule exists: requirement 14B of its remote technical standards, which the Commission said would come into force on 31 October 2021, says "Consumers must not be given the option to cancel their withdrawal request." Its guidance adds that operators "should make the process to withdraw funds as frictionless as possible." If you entered the wrong bank details the help centre asks you to contact customer service at once with the date, time and account details, adding that it "can't be held responsible for paying out to the wrong account based on the details you provided."0207
Fees, minimums and what you can withdraw
The standard minimum withdrawal is £5 to any payment service (clause 11.4). If your balance is below that, you can contact Customer Support to withdraw the whole balance. The terms set no maximum and say Unibet may change the minimum and maximum "at our reasonable discretion" (clause 11.5). The help centre states two maximums, £50,000 for Trustly and 10.000 (in euros, as written) for Revolut Pay, and leaves the Apple Pay and Google Pay limits to the Cashier page. Clause 11.6 says Unibet doesn't charge for withdrawals to online payment services, UK debit cards or international Visa cards issued in non-restricted countries, and doesn't allow transfers between customers' accounts.0102
There is an inactivity fee. Under clause 18, an account unused for 12 consecutive months becomes an Inactive Account; after at least 30 days from the first notice, and after trying to return the balance to your last payment method, Unibet may deduct "a monthly Inactive Account Fee of £5 (or currency equivalent)" until the balance reaches zero. Our guide to casino inactivity fees covers how these charges work elsewhere.01
Bonus money isn't withdrawable. "You can't withdraw from your bonus balance", and with an active deposit bonus you need to cancel or complete the bonus to withdraw your Contributed Money. Winnings are capped too: for casino, live casino, poker and bingo, outside progressive jackpot slot, table or instant win games and specifically advertised games or promotions, clause 10.2 says "the maximum winnings for any one wager or gameplay transaction shall be no greater than £250,000." Clause 10.3 gives six months after the event to claim winnings you think you're owed.0201
Clause 9.12 says account balances "are protected by a bank guarantee" and that this meets the Gambling Commission's requirement for segregation of customer funds at "medium protection". The Commission's own page on that level says that it is "not absolutely guaranteed" that you will get your money back if the business becomes insolvent.0106
When Unibet holds a withdrawal
Clause 11.1 lets you withdraw cleared real-money funds "at any time" on four conditions: your deposits have cleared and haven't been charged back or reversed, Unibet has completed its verification checks, no law or regulator requires it to withhold the money, and there's no ongoing investigation, or a completed one not decided in your favour, into an error, interruption or malfunction in a service you used, or into a suspected prohibited activity. During a suspension over a suspected prohibited activity, clause 15.2 says: "Your funds cannot be accessed or withdrawn during periods of suspension, and any balance will remain in the Account." For sports bets, clause 13.3 lets Unibet delay or withhold payment on an event on any event after a warning of irregular betting patterns, from the International Betting Integrity Association and the European Sports Security Association (IBIA/ESSA) or otherwise, until the event's integrity is confirmed.01
The help centre lists the everyday reasons. A withdrawal goes on hold when "Due to a security check, we may ask you to provide some documents before we process your withdrawal." The most common reasons it gives for a cancelled withdrawal are asking to withdraw straight after a deposit "without first playing", choosing a method you didn't deposit with, a method not in your name, and a pending verification request. If a withdrawal arrives short, it may have been split across your deposit methods, or partly reversed because a method isn't in your name or documents are missing; reversed amounts go back to your balance, and Unibet says it emails the reason.02
When Unibet asks for documents
Clause 6.6 says you can't deposit, withdraw or gamble until Unibet has verified your name, address and date of birth. Clause 6.1 lists what it may check: "age, identity, address, location, financial circumstances, and the source of the funds You deposit and use", and documents it may ask for, from a passport or driving licence to financial statements and "documents to support the expenditure on Your Account". Until checks are complete, clause 6.4 says Unibet will restrict your account, which can include stopping withdrawals, and if they can't be completed the account will be suspended and may be closed.01
On timing, the help centre says documents "are usually reviewed within 1–3 working days (up to 72 hours), though delays can happen during busy periods", and that a pending withdrawal "will be processed as soon as your documents are approved." A longer time frame may apply when Unibet tells you so, for example for source of funds. Unibet says contacting Customer Support "will not speed up the process, as they are not able to manually verify documents." Security checks can come "before a withdrawal", at random, after a deposit with a method not in your name, or to "verify where your funds are coming from after playing with us for a period of time."02
The document rules are specific. Proof of address that isn't an ID must be from the last three months, print-outs aren't accepted, business bank statements aren't accepted, and payment-method checks want a colour screenshot or photo with all corners visible. For source of funds, Unibet also offers Open Banking through a provider called Kreditz, which works with Klarna, as an alternative to uploading statements. Our guide to a source-of-funds check covers what these requests usually involve.02
The Gambling Commission has taken action over the company's own anti-money-laundering and customer-interaction controls. On 22 September 2025 it decided to give Platinum Gaming Limited, the company behind Unibet in Great Britain, a warning, a £10,000,000 financial penalty and an additional licence condition, after finding that between January 2023 and May 2024 it breached anti-money-laundering licence conditions 12.1.1 and 12.1.2 and social responsibility code provision 3.4.3 on customer interaction. The Commission's announcement of 22 October 2025 says the company must also undergo a third-party audit, and that this was its second enforcement action after a £2.9m fine in 2023.0405
If a withdrawal is late or blocked
Pending: Unibet hasn't approved and processed it yet. Check the Verify Account page for a document request; support can't speed this up.
Not in your bank yet: Unibet says up to 3 banking days after the withdrawal shows as Successful. A withdrawal to an expired card may still arrive within 5 working days; if it doesn't, contact your bank.
Missing from your history: this can happen briefly between Pending and Successful. Unless the amount is back in your balance, it's still being processed.
Cancelled: check your email for the reason. The common ones are no play after the deposit, the wrong method, a method not in your name and a pending verification.
Card stolen: tell your bank. If the funds haven't reached the card account, Unibet says the transaction will be reversed to your betting account once the bank reports the card as stolen.
Self-excluding: while it lasts you can't log in or withdraw, so Unibet recommends withdrawing first; it says it will try to return money left in the account, "but this may not always be possible". To withdraw winnings from bets settled afterwards, contact Customer Support. Exclusion from Unibet also covers "all UK brands operated by FDJ UNITED including 32Red and Bingo.com", while GAMSTOP covers all licensed UK operators. Our guide to self-exclusion explains both.
Complaints go to Customer Support through the Help Centre. Clause 30.1 says Unibet will reply "in any event within not more than eight (8) weeks from the date of a complaint being raised". If it's not resolved to your satisfaction within eight weeks, the complaint becomes a dispute that you can refer free of charge to eCOGRA, the alternative dispute resolution service Unibet names in clause 30.2. eCOGRA's own page says it "is an independent and approved Alternative Dispute Resolution entity of the Gambling Commission". That's a different route from operators that use IBAS: our guide to eCOGRA's seal and ADR service explains what eCOGRA can decide, and if the money still doesn't come, see what to do when a casino is refusing to pay.0108
Who you're dealing with
Clause 2.1 of the terms names Platinum Gaming Limited, a Gibraltar company with registration number 114100, whose trading names include Unibet, 32Red and Bingo.com. Clause 2.2 says it's licensed by the Gambling Commission (licence number 45322) for customers in Great Britain and by the Government of Gibraltar (licences RGL 091 and RGL 092) for customers outside Great Britain. The Commission's register, read on 6 November 2026, lists account 45322 under Platinum Gaming Limited with remote licence 045322-R-324275-020, active since 12 July 2016, for bingo, casino, real and virtual event betting and pool betting, and a head office address at Kindred London Ltd in London. Our Unibet profile still shows 045322-R-324275-019, a number the register didn't list on 6 November. Our guide to what the UK Gambling Commission does for players explains what the regulator can and can't do about a single withdrawal.0103
What to ask Unibet before a large withdrawal
Please confirm, for my withdrawal of [amount] to [payment method]: the maximum I can withdraw to this method in one request and per day, whether any documents are needed before it is processed, and the expected processing time. My username is [username].
Keep the reply in the same chat or email thread.
What we couldn't check
Actual payout times. We didn't make a withdrawal. The times above are what Unibet's help centre says, not what we measured.
The cashier. We didn't log in, so we haven't seen the limits the withdrawal screen shows for a real account, including the Apple Pay and Google Pay limits the help centre leaves to it.
Dates of the help answers. The help centre data shows no update date for its answers, so we can only say they were live on 6 November 2026.
The help page itself. unibet.co.uk/help returned a 404 status on 6 November 2026 both to a direct request and in a browser, so we couldn't confirm how the answers appear to a reader.
